Chemfix Metolux Metofix 3-1 is a high strength adhesive that is BBA APPROVED.
A strong 15kg tub containing both the resin and hardener for easy mixing.
It is primarily used for the secure application of brick slips and other cut brick pieces used in offsite brick fabrication such as brick clad soffits, lintels, arches, chimneys and brick slip panel systems.
It will adhere to almost any surface and is widely used for off site brickwork ‘face up’ fabrication for fixing brick slips to cast concrete structural units, stainless steel, powder-coated lintels, cement particle boards or GRP chimneys and panels.
Metolux Metofix 3-1 is frequently used for the bonding of cut and stuck brick specials, brick and paver cut bonding.
When used in conjunction with Metolux Metobond it can also be used for the on-site remediation of brick slips and brick cuts across a wide variety of applications.
A single tub of Metolux houses both the resin and the hardener in separate compartments which can then be easily mixed together in a 3:1 ratio when ready for application.
It is easy to mix and apply and is solvent free. Suitable for both internal and external applications, it is moisture resistant, ideal for use in external areas that are exposed to the elements.
With excellent chemical resistance and superb sealant qualities the mixed adhesive will cure down to 5ºC
